Description
Delivery of the CQ-9B Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) course incorporating theory, synthetic and live flying phases
Provide TACCO subject matter expertise (SME) support to the joint Pilot and Sensor Operator (SO) CQ-9B course
Provide oral and written SME to other members of the CAE Mission Crew Instructor cadre
Ensure delivered training is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan, per applicable training standards
Deliver synthetic and live training using complex simulators and scenario generation systems, and the live aircraft
Compile student sortie progress and course debrief reports
Report instructional issues and deficiencies relative to the course delivery.
Work autonomously to tackle a broad scope of requirements for aircrew students and customer representatives
Effectively deliver oral presentations to aircrew students, customer representatives and CAE management
Work independently towards a team goal
Contribute to the development of courseware and teaching aids
Liaise and contribute to student course scheduling
Perform occasional travel in support of the project
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Previous experience as a TACCO instructor, preferably on the CP-140, but other Canadian maritime platforms will be considered
Formal training in Instructional Techniques
Anti-surface Unit Warfare and Search and Rescue experience
Weaponeering effects delivery experience
Link-16 experience
Experience with writing and amending multi-media instructional courseware
Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met as per Training Standards
Superior interpersonal and communication skills
Physically able to perform all instructional tasks in a live and synthetic setting
Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or on a valid Work Permit
Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods and a Government of Canada NATO SECRET security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Airborne collection sensor operating experience
Exposure to Signals intelligence
Exposure to Electro Optic / Infra-Red (EO/IR) systems
Experience with RCAF Standards, Evaluation and Training (SET) organization
>100 formal instructional hours
Military UAV experience
Land Domain experience
