The role: 

 

Leads and oversees EPMO / Enterprise Portfolio Management & Strategy Execution globally, ensuring that business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Oversee the delivery of the team’s key financial and management reports to key stakeholders, including month-end and quarter-end reporting packages such as monthly project financials actuals/forecast (SIP deck) and Quarterly Management Report (QMR).
  • Prepare and presents complex and large volumes of financial data and information in a meaningful, concise and user-friendly manner.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of strong financial governance by implementing best practices, including providing forecasts for VP’s transit. Supports audit requests and communicates financial policies, guidelines, and Bank practices.
  • Assist the team with ancillary activities in Business Investment, including making changes to reporting requirements, Business Case Tool updates, and ad hoc reporting that emerges throughout the year.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop/design effective and efficient processes and workflows for project financial tracking and reporting; delivers timely and accurate reporting.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field with progress towards a professional designation (e.g. CPA, CFA) or graduate degree (e.g. MBA) preferred. Minimum of five to seven years experience in financial management – preferably in reporting / FP&A or project finance areas.
  • Must be able to manage and interpret large amounts of data, and use sound judgement in analysis, interpretation and presentation of findings (Power BI would be a strong asset).
  • Strong technical skills in MS Excel and Power Point. Demonstrated ability to create and maintain dashboards for executives is required for this role.  
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. CAPPM) would be an asset.
