Job Title: Operations and Business Development Manager
Location: Winnipeg or Ontario
Work Environment: Hybrid
(2-3 days per week in a branch office)

Salary Range: $85,000 to $95,000

We are searching for an engaging team member to join our Managerial team and leading daily business operations and business development opportunities for our Northern Staffing Division. The position involves actively engaging in networking, developing strong business partnerships, and staying abreast of healthcare industry trends to support the achievement of operational goals. This individual is tasked with upholding high standards of quality assurance, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth and effective operations on a day-to-day basis

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Business Development

  • Demonstrate knowledge of business development in healthcare related field.
  • Leads initiatives specific to health care service delivery including but not limited to nursing, paramedicine and social work services in Hospital and primary care settings.
  • Leads and develops strong business relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with funders, government programs, contract managers, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team as required.
  • Lead the integration of client/customer satisfaction initiatives; ensure that all referred client/customer concerns and complaints are satisfactorily addressed and documented in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the delivery of healthcare staffing services to ensure quality, compliance and client satisfaction
  • Identify and resolve operational or service-related issues proactively.
  • Must be willing to travel as required to support client relations and business development activities.

Operations

  • Ensures the effective use of company resources in all operations.
  • Assists in improving operational systems, processes, and policies, specifically, reporting, information flow, business processes and organizational planning (where requested).
  • Assist the Director of Operations in any required weekly, monthly, and annual reports by working in collaboration with the contracts manager to ensure branch reporting requirements are met.
  • Participates in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence in the Northern Staffing division.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a sales role, with proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in the HealthCare Industry or a background in Nursing in British Columbia with a deep understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools to manage and analyze customer interactions.
  • Experience in building and maintaining long term customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Nursing, Sales, or related field is required. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
  • Experience working in Home Care, Home Health or senior related services is preferred. Equivalent work experience in branch operations would be considered a strong asset.
  • Must be willing to travel to branches and to the National Service Centre in Mississauga, ON if required. Access to a car and a driver’s license is required.
