The Court and Justice Services (CJS) Branch provides a wide range of resolution and court services for people involved in legal disputes. In collaboration with the courts of Alberta, Court and Justice Services provide various programs and services including educating and helping Albertans finding solutions for legal issues, navigating the court system, offering programs at no cost or a nominal charge, and administrative support to all courts in Alberta. As the Senior Deputy Clerk, you will be a Senior leader that oversees the daily activity of the court operations and various areas including circuit court locations. You will be in a supervisory role ensuring the smooth delivery of operational matters, which organize and manage the court process. You will supervise staff, performing paralegal responsibilities. You will ensure that the staff are properly trained, qualified and is responsible for the assignment, control, and evaluation of their assigned team members.
Leadership is an integral aspect of this role as you will be required to lead by example, coach and influence others towards the achievement of organizational and developmental goals.
