About the Opportunity
Altis Technology is partnering with a confidential public-sector organization to hire a Senior System Architect for a nationally significant enterprise COTS platform. This platform supports complex operational workflows, regulated processes, and high-volume user interactions that directly impact stakeholders across Canada.

You will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction and long-term sustainability of a core enterprise system. Working alongside business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors, you will help ensure the platform remains stable, scalable, and aligned with evolving organizational needs.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll provide solution and application architecture governance for a complex enterprise COTS platform
• You’ll lead and mature Tier 2 support processes, including escalation models and knowledge management practices
• You’ll translate business requirements into scalable configurations, integrations, and technical design artifacts
• You’ll coordinate vendors, system releases, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities
• You’ll establish governance frameworks, documentation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
• You’ll support training, knowledge transfer, and internal capability development

Skills and Qualifications
• 10 + years of experience architecting or supporting enterprise COTS or SaaS platforms
• Demonstrated leadership in Tier 2 or Tier 3 application support and operational service models
• Strong experience with vendor management, system releases, and platform integrations
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on technically
• Experience within public sector, healthcare, or education environments considered an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related discipline
