Vancouver, BC - Hybrid (3 days in office)

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Solutions Architect to join and drive the execution of Imperva’s Platform strategy. This is a key role within the organization, and you will have a significant impact on Imperva’s vision and growth. This position is part of Imperva's mission for building the foundations for all current and future Imperva products, and creating a unified open platform that connects the best-of-breed cyber security products in the world.

Essential Functions

  • Design and build high-performance scalable distributed systems
  • Collaborate with engineers in the group and mentor them to foster solid engineering principles, professionally grow, and represent our engineering values
  • Take end-to-end leadership over high-impact cross-team projects
  • Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies in an ongoing effort to advance our products
  • Analyze and improve performance, scalability, and stability of platform products, environments, and tools
  • Always be in code - contribute to POCs, architectural designs and new features
  • Collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders and present architecture topics

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 8 years of software development experience, two of which as technical leadership / architecture roles
  • Experience with Big Data platforms and modern technologies (microservices, serverless, K8S, Kafka, no-sql)
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing and maintaining high-scale SaaS solutions/platforms
  • Hands-on experience with stream processing for near real-time systems (BigData, Distributed systems)
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructures and architectures - AWS advantage

Total Target Cash (TTC) Range: 117,315.32 - 156,524.57 - 196,448.24 CAD Annual
