About the Opportunity

We’re supporting a large professional services environment that is looking to bring on a GCP Cloud Engineer to strengthen its cloud and DevOps delivery capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on infrastructure work and thrives in collaborative environments where cloud engineers, architects, and technical leads work closely together.

In this role, you’ll focus on Infrastructure as Code and automation, supporting cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines while working alongside senior Cloud Architects who provide advanced GCP guidance. Your work will help enable reliable, scalable, and well-governed cloud platforms that support modern application delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform as the primary Infrastructure as Code tool.

• In this role, you’ll develop reusable Terraform modules and enforce IaC best practices across environments.

• You’ll build and support CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling to enable automated deployments and workflows.

• You’ll automate operational tasks, environment provisioning, and cloud deployments to improve reliability and efficiency.

• You’ll work hands-on with core GCP services, supporting deployments and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.

• You’ll collaborate closely with developers, architects, and operations teams to support cloud-native delivery.

• You’ll contribute to documentation, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, and IaC patterns.

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling.

• Practical, hands-on experience supporting workloads on Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience working with Git-based version control and collaborative workflows.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud and deployment environments.

• Experience with containers, scripting, monitoring tools, or GCP certifications is considered an asset.
