Agilus is recruiting for a Technical Translator-(Mandarin) in the Manufacturing industry in Windsor, Ontario. What's in it for you: $25.00 hourly 3-6 month contract Schedule 2 weeks on day and 2 weeks on Midnights A typical day: Translate technical documents: Convert written materials like user manuals, shifts reports, and safety policies in both Mandarin and English. Ensure accuracy and consistency: Maintain the original content, context, and style, while ensuring technical accuracy and clarity Revise and proofread: Review and correct translations produced by team members to ensure quality control and proper communication Verbalize content: Verbally describe in both languages, instructions of maintenance, installations and safety Format and prepare documents: Ensure the final translated product meets client specifications, which may include formatting and document preparation Build a trusted partnership: while developing strong working relationships of trust and fluency ensure all parties are aligned and strengthened while utilizing your skillset of translation Successful candidates will have: Ability to speak Mandarin fluently Ability to speak English and translate from Mandarin to a workforce of technically skilled workers Legally authorized to work in US/Canada Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act - Preferred Experience with machinery, communications or any engineering field - Preferred This posting is for an active opening.
