Scanning Clerk
Location: Ottawa, Ontario, On-site, 5 days per week

This is a great chance to step into a hands-on administrative role during one of the busiest and most important times of the year. Our client, a professional services organization supporting individuals during tax season, is looking for a detail-oriented Scanning Clerk to join their on-site Ottawa team on a contract basis.
In this role, you will work closely with a collaborative administrative team to ensure sensitive documents are accurately scanned, entered, and handled with care. Your work directly supports the accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency of tax processing, making this a meaningful opportunity for someone who enjoys contributing behind the scenes in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll accurately scan and digitize paper documents, ensuring files are clear, complete, and properly categorized.
In this role, you’ll perform data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
You’ll handle confidential customer and company information with professionalism and discretion.
You’ll collaborate with team members on general administrative tasks to support daily operations.
You’ll manage light physical tasks related to document handling, including lifting up to 10 to 20 pounds as needed.
1+ year of experience in an administrative, clerical, or data entry role.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort with light physical duties related to document management.
