Location: Toronto, Hybrid, 2–3 days on-site

About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing managing general agency within the financial services sector that specializes exclusively in individual life insurance. This role is designed for professionals who enjoy advisory, process-driven work and want to support successful insurance advisors without being in a sales or call-centre environment.

You will work closely with a small, collaborative team and act as a trusted support partner to advisors, helping them navigate individual insurance cases from start to finish. Your work will directly enable advisor success by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth execution, allowing advisors to focus on client relationships and growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll support advisors with end-to-end processing of individual life insurance business.

  • You’ll guide and educate advisors on how to complete requests and navigate internal processes.

  • You’ll use life insurance carrier illustration software to support case preparation and analysis.

  • You’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and proactive follow-up on advisor cases.

  • You’ll prepare client summaries, reports, and conduct data analysis to identify renewal and growth opportunities.

  • You’ll maintain compliant client files and support ongoing advisor education initiatives.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in life insurance or financial services.

  • Active LLQP license is required.

  • Hands-on experience with life insurance illustration software is mandatory.

  • Strong attention to detail with a compliance-focused mindset.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based tools.

  • Experience working with multiple insurance carriers is considered an asset.
