About the Opportunity

This is a high impact Executive Assistant role supporting a President and CEO within a non-profit, membership-based association. You will be a trusted partner to the CEO during a period of transformation, helping bring structure, clarity, and momentum to her day-to-day priorities.

Working in a close knit team environment, you will collaborate with senior leaders, Board members, and internal stakeholders to keep executive operations running smoothly. Your work will directly support leadership effectiveness, governance, and member engagement, making this a role where your organization, judgment, and people skills truly matter.

You will join a people-first organization that values collaboration, balance, and positive energy at work. This is a stable, permanent role with meaningful exposure to executive leadership and Board governance.

The organization offers comprehensive benefits, a pension plan with employer matching, generous time off, and thoughtful perks like wellness days, summer half-day Fridays, and a holiday office closure. You will also have the opportunity to introduce efficiencies and make the role your own.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, travel, expenses, and daily priorities with confidence and discretion.
  • In this role, you’ll act as a key point of contact for internal teams, board members, members, and external partners connecting with the CEO.
  • You’ll coordinate Board and committee meetings, including agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • You’ll prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials to support executive decision-making.
  • You’ll support light office operations, including facilities coordination and supplies, representing about 20 to 25 percent of the role.
  • You’ll introduce tools and processes that improve workflow efficiency, including scheduling and CRM reporting support.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive Executive Assistant experience supporting mid to senior executives.
  • Experience with board support is strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort adopting new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills, judgment, and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
  • A proactive, personable approach with high emotional intelligence and professionalism.
  • Experience within an association, non-profit, or membership-based organization is an asset.
