Cultural and Heritage Programs is responsible for multi-disciplinary arts centres, heritage and museum facilities and structures, the delivery of arts, heritage and museum public programming and events, volunteer program development, audience development, and exhibits and research.
Under the guidance of a Programmer, Arts Centre in Visual or Creative Arts, you help children and Instructors with projects and materials and assist Instructors with the supervision of children.
Note: minimum age of 15 years is required for this Summer Student job.
High School Student - participating in one or more of the following arts disciplines: theatre, dance, music, visual, literary, and multi-media arts or related field
Note: Student must be returning to school in the fall
Minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years of related experience is required practicing and/or teaching in a related discipline
Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers.
