About the Role: 

Under the guidance of the Director, Digital Growth & Engagement, the Manager, Digital Education and Engagement is accountable for owning and delivering the strategy, prioritization and implementation of digital education tools for clients and front line employees. In addition, the candidate will support direct to client (marketing) initiatives as well as branch and contact center learning and adoption initiatives

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:  

 

Program Support:

  • Managing the creation, upkeep, and vendor relationship for internal and external digital education assets including digital learning platforms, digital demos, and other content on our .COM website
  • Analyze and assess data points to continue to build a digital education strategy for front line employees.
  • Support the team in driving awareness and education of digital banking through incentive and engagement campaigns and other channel initiatives
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
  • Continuously pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

  

Strategy, Planning, & Project Management

  • Ensure alignment for programs through pro-active relationship management with key stakeholders, including Scotia Digital, Retail Banking, Marketing, Branch and Call Centre partners
  • Monitor and track project scope and progress throughout the project lifecycle to deliver the expected project outcomes within agreed-upon time, cost, and quality parameters 
  • Work in close collaboration with stakeholders. Conduct project management activities for assigned projects
  • Strong planning skills, ability to discern research information, industry trends, & data to focus on critical business objectives 

 

Vendor Management

  • Lead and coordinate weekly meetings with third-party vendors to oversee digital demo development, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Manage end-to-end vendor relationship requirements, including risk assessments, certificate renewals, and contract renewals, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal technology teams to maintain secure and appropriate access to digital learning platforms for Scotiabank employees.
  • Oversee shared inbox operations, track and resolve access issues, and escalate concerns promptly to minimize disruptions.

  • Strong stakeholder relationship and project management skills 
  • Change management experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with ability to translate ideas and analysis into strategic compelling cases for executive approval
  • Vendor relationship management experience is an asset
  • Previous experience in a channel support role or marketing is preferred.
