About the Opportunity

This is a meaningful opportunity to support a youth justice facility dedicated to rehabilitation, prevention, and positive outcomes for at-risk youth. In this fast-paced, high-impact environment, your work will directly contribute to keeping young people out of the justice system through structure, organization, and compassionate support.

You will work alongside a small administrative team, legal and social service professionals, and frontline staff who are deeply committed to community safety and youth development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, values confidentiality, and wants their administrative skills to make a real difference.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll support daily administrative operations within a youth justice facility, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
  • In this role, you’ll prepare and manage internal documentation, court-related paperwork, and sensitive client records.
  • You’ll liaise with internal teams and clients, providing clear and professional administrative support.
  • You’ll assist with workload coverage during a period of high demand.
  • You’ll follow established procedures while adapting quickly to a fast-moving environment.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of administrative experience in any field
  • Experience in correctional, shelter, social services, legal, or youth justice environments is an asset
  • Familiarity with court documents or law clerk experience is preferred
  • Education in criminology, social justice, or a related field is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and reliability
  • Approachable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in sensitive settings
