Description

Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a part-time or full-time Primary Care Physician to provide onsite and on call services to our federal client in Regina, SK.

 

TASKS

  • General medical/clinic services to all patients requiring medical attention at a designated clinic. These services include but are not restricted to the following:
    - Diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses and injuries;
    - Management of chronic conditions;
    - Prescriptions and renewal of medications;
    - Health assessment and physical exams; and
    - Assessment, testing and treatment of infectious and communicable disease.
  • Referral of patients to specialist or consultative medical practitioner(s) for services outside of the scope of work of the resulting Agreement or beyond the Successful Supplier(s)’ qualifications or licensed services.
  • Provision of gender-responsive care, including women’s health assessments and management as appropriate.
  • On-call services (anything outside of clinic hours) to provide necessary consultation, and prescribe medication and treatment.
  • Apply knowledge of health issues relevant to the client, especially mental health, addictions, and communicable disease in provision of services;
  • Ensure Centre’s policies and guidelines are being adhered to.
  • In-service training to Centre(s) medical staff on mutually agreed topics and services. The number of training hours may be negotiated with the Successful Supplier(s).
  • It is expected that the proposed Health Practitioner will provide a recommendation for required hours and their training approach.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The Physician must possess:

  • Proof of licensing with CPSS or CRNS (good standing)
  • License number
  • Willingness to provide Criminal Record Check + Vulnerable Sector Search at award
  • WCB letter of good standing
  • CMPA or equivalent liability protection
