A day in the life: Project Planning: Develop detailed restoration plans, schedule tasks, and coordinate with various teams to ensure timely project completion. Damage Assessment: Evaluate the extent of damage to properties and create comprehensive restoration plans. Team Leadership: Lead and manage teams of technicians and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. Customer/Client Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills: both written and verbal. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns. Cost Management: Prepare accurate estimates and manage project budgets. Quality Control: Oversee the quality of restoration work, ensuring it meets industry standards and client expectations Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress, costs, and any changes to the original plan. You bring: Must have a minimum of 2 years of project management experience in the restoration industry High school diploma required; post-secondary education or a combination of relevant education and experience is considered an asset Mandatory certifications: WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying), and AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician) Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with MS Office, XactAnalysis/Xactimate, Symbility/Mobile Claims, Encircle, PSA, MS Office, and QuickBooks is considered an asset Must be available for on-call rotation, including after-hours and weekends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This posting is for an active opening.
