As needs arise you would have the unique opportunity to contribute to complex, high-impact projects that support Canada’s national defence and aviation capabilities. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in delivering large-scale initiatives that intersect military operations, aviation programs, and infrastructure development.
Working within a public sector environment, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, senior leaders, and technical experts to ensure projects are delivered with precision, accountability, and foresight. Your work will directly support decision-making at the Director, Director General, ADM, and CFO level, making your contributions both visible and meaningful.

You’ll lead the planning and implementation of large-scale, high budget projects spanning military, aviation, and infrastructure components.
In this role, you may be responsible to manage and develop comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and governance materials.
You’ll oversee risk mitigation strategies and ensure alignment with airworthiness and maintenance policies.
You’ll prepare and present clear project status and progress reports to senior management.
You’ll collaborate with aircraft maintenance and/or flight test organizations to support technically complex initiatives.
10+ years of progressive project management experience in complex technical environments.
A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in a technical discipline such as engineering, aviation, science or other relevant discipline.
A valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI or an equivalent designation.
Experience within aircraft maintenance organizations and/or flight test environments would be considered an asset.
Demonstrated ability to manage large, multi-stakeholder projects and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
