About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible supply/demand planning role within a global consumer goods environment, supporting a well-known imported brand portfolio. You will play a key part in shaping supply and production decisions that directly impact product availability, customer satisfaction, and commercial success across the Canadian market.

Working alongside cross-functional partners in demand planning, customer service, operations, and international planning teams, your insights will help balance forecast changes, inventory health, and production constraints. This role is ideal for a collaborative planner who enjoys problem-solving, influencing outcomes, and contributing to a culture that values precision, accountability, and teamwork.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll contribute to weekly consensus meetings, providing supply insights and recommendations tied to forecast changes.
  • In this role, you’ll track deviations, assess supply risks, and propose corrective actions to protect business performance.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with Customer Service to manage inventory availability and customer expectations.
  • You’ll verify and maintain demand and supply updates in SAP APO, including DP and SNP modules.
  • You’ll coordinate production and re-pack activities, ensuring stock coverage aligns with commercial objectives.
  • You’ll partner with central planning teams to resolve constraints and escalate issues when required.
  • When needed, you’ll step in to support the Supply Planning Manager, ensuring continuity and leadership.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in demand or supply planning within a complex environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall Microsoft Office skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of SAP APO, including DP and SNP.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
