About the Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Administrative Assistant to join a busy office environment where every day brings variety and opportunity. In this role, you’ll be the link between multiple departments, supporting sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure operations run smoothly. This is a people-focused position where your contributions directly impact both internal colleagues and clients. You’ll gain exposure to order processing, inventory coordination, and production support while building skills across multiple facets of the business.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll assist with sales order processing, ensuring repeat and new orders are handled accurately and on time.
  • You’ll provide back-up support to the front office and traffic department, maintaining smooth daily operations.
  • You’ll support production coordination, including updating inventory, managing tickets, and assisting with workflow documentation.
  • You’ll maintain accurate records, prepare packing slips, work orders, and other administrative paperwork.
  • You’ll handle customer service tasks, liaising with clients and providing information or assistance as needed.
  • You’ll ensure quality control by monitoring orders, materials, and documentation for accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; college diploma or industry experience an asset.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with an aptitude for learning quickly.
  • Fluent in English; French is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel; familiarity with ERP systems like Great Plains is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, adaptable, and team-oriented personality.
