This is an opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a national, mission-driven non-profit organization with a strong people-first culture. You will provide operational leadership across Human Resources and Payroll, supporting teams that serve staff and communities across Canada.
In this role, your impact is felt through the people you support and the systems you steward. You will work closely with a highly experienced, fully remote HR and Payroll team, senior leaders, and internal partners to strengthen programs, guide change, and ensure equitable, compliant, and compassionate people practices during a period of organizational evolution.

You will lead HR operations and programs, including recruitment, performance management, succession planning, health and safety, and policy oversight.
In this role, you will provide strong people leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a high-performing HR and Payroll team.
You will oversee compensation, job evaluation, pay equity, and payroll governance across a national workforce and affiliated entities.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on employee relations, organizational change, and workforce planning.
You will guide payroll oversight for national staff and provide strategic support to payroll services delivered to communities across Canada.
5 to 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong foundation in HR operations and employee relations.
5+ years of people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and build trust within seasoned teams.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, CHRP or CHRL preferred.
Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, human rights, health and safety, and pay equity principles.
Experience within non-profit, or mission-driven environments is considered an asset.
