The Role

 

This role is a key part of the Global Banking & Markets Engineering team, focused on delivering system solutions. This Technical Analyst Advisory will act as a bridge between business and technology, driving impactful solutions across complex systems.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Work closely with business stakeholders (GWO, Wealth, Middle Office, Back Office) and the technology groups to enhance system functionalities within application, resolving business and technology issues with urgency.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC and develop detailed business and functional specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Maintain and communicate application changes and issues to key stakeholders
  • Analyze trade workflows and operational processes to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with GTEP (Infrastructure support) and vendors on system enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting issues
  • Support the customization and ongoing maintenance of application to align with business needs
  • Ensure timely delivery of features and initiatives, highlighting risks and dependencies
  • Run SQL queries for data validation and reporting.
  • Communicating requirement to development and QA, performing testing, coordinating UAT testing and assisting production implementation
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and dealing with production support issues

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

 

  • 3-5 Business Analysis experience in a financial domain.
  • Working experience in Capital Markets Technology.
  • Familiarity with common data formats (XML and JSON)
  • SQL (MS SQL, Oracle) – data analysis, modeling, and engineering.
  • Experience with documentation and collaboration tools: JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Office365.
  • Hands-on experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Experience across the SDLC, including integration and implementation of complex systems.
