About the Opportunity
Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives on building strategic partnerships, expanding multi-line-of-business accounts, and uncovering opportunities that make a meaningful impact? This is a high-impact role for someone who excels in business development, client engagement, and national and cross-border partnership growth and expansion.

In this role, you’ll combine the strategic focus of a senior account executive with the national reach of a partnership specialist. You’ll uncover new opportunities, deepen relationships with key stakeholders, strengthen our market presence across Canada and drive our business expansion and presence into the U.S. With your consultative approach and strong business acumen, you’ll drive revenue growth while supporting exceptional client experiences and long-term success.

Your Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following: 

Business Development & National and U.S. Market Growth

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities across Canada and the U.S. to drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility
  • Build strong networks and spheres of influence to expand pipelines, enter emerging markets, and support cross-border client expansion
  • Expand business within existing clients by identifying service gaps, new service opportunities, and multi-service growth potential 
  • Convert qualified leads into active job orders and long-term engagements 
  • Act as a subject matter expert, advising clients on market trends, labour dynamics, and recruitment challenges in both Canadian and U.S. markets

Strategic Portfolio & Account Expansion 

  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise-level accounts, focusing on growing those currently using only one service line
  • Develop tailored account growth plans based on a strong understanding of each client’s structure, needs, motivations, and challenges
  • Engage senior decision-makers, including VP and C-suite contacts, to secure long-term partnerships and multi-service opportunities
  • Monitor revenue trends and create strategies to increase wallet share within key accounts and targeted regions 

Client Engagement, Negotiations & Service Delivery 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract negotiations, MSAs, and large-scale agreements in partnership with the Contract Success team
  • Customize solutions for large MSPs and enterprise clients, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and alignment with their evolving needs
  • Participate in client kickoffs, service reviews, and account transition activities to support a seamless client experience
  • Navigate client objections with confidence while demonstrating the value of our services in a consultative manner 

Brand Positioning, Thought Leadership & Market Presence 

  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand market presence and diversify the client pipeline 
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that highlight our solutions and expertise 
  • Market top talent to prospective clients while incorporating thought leadership content, including webinars and insights into client conversations 
  • Strengthen relationships and increase inbound interest by sharing engaging, value-driven LinkedIn content

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support 

  • Partner closely with Account Managers and Recruitment Partners to ensure strategic search plans align with client expectations 
  • Contribute to RFP submissions and new contract opportunities alongside Marketing, Proposals, and other internal collaborators 
  • Work with internal teams to support the adoption of new tools, technologies, and processes related to sales effectiveness and client delivery

Technology, CRM & Reporting 

  • Utilize ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and other tools to research prospects and drive targeted outreach 
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and generate reports on goals, pipeline activity, revenue trends, and client engagement 
  • Track growth targets and profitability metrics to inform account strategy and business development decisions 
Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sales, account management, or business development within multi-service environments
  • Proven success in national and cross-border market expansion
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience engaging with senior executives and enterprise clients
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and representing the organization publicly
  • CRM and sales tools proficiency (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Recruiter/LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)
