Location: Canada, Hybrid (2-3 times per week in the office in Mississauga )

Duration: 4 months contract + extension

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll process and analyze LiDAR datasets using industry-standard tools such as TerraScan, MicroStation, LP360, and Global Mapper.

  • In this role, you’ll perform detailed quality control and independent reviews to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.

  • You’ll develop, maintain, and refine macros and workflows to improve production efficiency and consistency.

  • You’ll support scheduling and production tracking in collaboration with team leads to meet delivery timelines.

  • You’ll provide technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting support to internal teams and occasionally to clients.

  • You’ll contribute to innovation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts while ensuring compliance with industry standards and QHSSE policies.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–8 years of hands-on LiDAR production experience in a professional environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Sciences, Remote Sensing, GIS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong proficiency with LiDAR processing tools including MicroStation, TerraSolid, LP360, GeoCue, Global Mapper, ArcGIS, and LASTools.

  • Solid understanding of LiDAR technology, data quality metrics, and industry standards such as ASPRS.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.

  • ASPRS certification is considered an asset.
