This is a unique opportunity to bring creativity, storytelling, and digital savvy to two national programs that connect and energize communities across Canada. You’ll support social media and communications efforts for a large-scale national run series and a highly creative esports and gaming initiative, each with its own audience, tone, and rhythm.
Working within a collaborative public sector environment, you’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders and committee members, as well as national partners, to amplify content, engage participants, and bring programs to life online. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving campaigns, enjoys balancing structure with creativity, and is genuinely excited by gaming, esports, and community-driven content.

You’ll also have the chance to shape the look, feel, and voice of a growing esports and gaming program, contributing ideas that make a real impact while building hands-on experience across multiple platforms.
You’ll manage social media content and inbox support for a national run program, coordinating information from multiple local events and amplifying it through national channels.
You’ll create, schedule, and publish engaging posts across Instagram and Facebook, with activity peaking during registration and event seasons.
You’ll support a gaming and esports program by developing creative content for platforms such as Instagram, Discord, Twitch, and YouTube.
You’ll design graphics and edit short-form video content tailored to a youthful, niche audience within a professional environment.
You’ll collaborate with internal team members and partners, contributing ideas and supporting campaign planning during peak periods.
2+ years of experience in social media, digital communications, or content creation.
Strong hands-on experience with Meta platforms, with exposure to Discord, YouTube, Twitch, or similar channels considered an asset.
Graphic design and video editing skills, with a portfolio or examples available.
A genuine interest or background in gaming and esports.
Excellent time management, creativity, and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
Ability to balance an edgy, youthful tone with professionalism and brand guidelines.
