As a Design System Engineer, you will work at the intersection of design and engineering, partnering closely with product managers, designers, and developers. Your work will directly shape how teams build, scale, and deliver consistent user experiences across multiple digital products. Your Responsibilities

• In this role, you’ll build, maintain, and document a scalable library of reusable UI components using React with TypeScript and a modern UI framework.
• You’ll translate wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts into polished, accessible, and production-ready components.
• You’ll establish and evolve design tokens, theming structures, and system foundations to ensure brand consistency.
• You’ll collaborate with product and engineering partners to refine user flows and align UI with business and user needs.
• You’ll create clear documentation, including usage guidelines, accessibility notes, and example implementations.
• You’ll ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and contribute to internal tooling and CI/CD improvements.

 

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in frontend, UI, or design system engineering with hands-on design system ownership.
• Strong expertise in React with TypeScript and component-driven architecture.
• Strong proficiency with Figma and end-to-end UX/UI design.
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and usability best practices.
• Experience establishing design tokens, documentation standards, and reusable component libraries.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in Agile environments.
