About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to make a real impact at a fast-growing organization in the financial services space that is redefining how technology supports Canadian businesses. You will join a team that builds with purpose, focusing on secure, scalable, and reliable platforms that directly support growth and innovation across the country.

In this role, you will work closely with developers, product leaders, and business partners who value quality as a shared responsibility. Collaboration, curiosity, and ownership are core to the culture, and your work will directly influence how products perform in real-world environments. If you are energized by solving meaningful problems and contributing to technology that supports entrepreneurs and small businesses, this role offers both challenge and reward.

What’s In It for You

You will be part of a collaborative and people-first environment where learning and knowledge sharing are encouraged. This is a workplace that values balance, celebrates team wins, and creates space for you to grow your technical skills while making your voice heard. You will gain exposure to modern tools, evolving platforms, and a team that supports continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

  • In this role, you’ll perform manual and automated testing across web applications, APIs, and backend systems to ensure quality and reliability.
  • You’ll design, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and ensure they are testable.
  • You’ll integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
  • You’ll identify quality gaps, report defects, and recommend improvements to testing processes.
  • You’ll support User Acceptance Testing and validate production stability through post-release testing.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years focused on automation testing.
  • Strong experience with Agile or Scrum development environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript, ideally with Playwright.
  • Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman and test management tools like Azure DevOps Test Plans.
  • Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence presenting results during sprint reviews.

Note from the Hiring Manager

“We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality, enjoys collaborating with others, and isn’t afraid to speak up when something can be better. If you’re curious, detail-oriented, and motivated by impact, you’ll fit right in.”
