Location: Toronto, Hybrid (4 days on-site, Monday to Thursday)
Language: Advanced English required, both written and spoken
Duration: 16-month contract

About the Opportunity

This is a rare chance to step into a high-impact role supporting a senior executive within a large, purpose-driven real estate and investment organization. You will work at the center of communications, branding, and executive operations, helping ensure everything from corporate messaging to leadership events runs smoothly and professionally.

You will partner closely with the Chief Communications Officer and senior leadership, acting as a trusted right hand who keeps schedules aligned, projects moving, and communications polished. This role blends classic executive support with creative, project-driven work in a fast-moving, people-focused public sector environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will manage a complex executive calendar, resolving conflicts proactively and keeping priorities on track.
  • In this role, you will coordinate travel, meetings, expenses, and executive correspondence with precision and discretion.
  • You will support C-suite and corporate events, including planning, logistics, budgeting, and on-site execution.
  • You will create polished presentations and communications using PowerPoint and other creative tools.
  • You will oversee budgets, invoices, and expense reporting using Excel and internal systems.
  • You will maintain corporate calendars, brand assets, and employee-facing communication tools.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive executive assistant, communications, or project coordination experience
  • A university degree in a related field such as communications, business, or marketing
  • Strong event planning and stakeholder coordination experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working across time zones and shifting priorities
