Scotiabank ABM Delivery Services Team is looking for a Operations Support team member to assist in providing maintenance and support functions for the ABM and CRU fleet across Canada.


Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Provide a high standard of professional, courteous, efficient support that impact the department and ultimately the scope of service provided.
  • Attend meetings accordingly (vendor management, operations, and stand-ups, etc.).
  • Act as the issues/incident escalation point for the supplier that may have an enterprise-wide impact or not resolved at the business level.
  • Verify and approve vendor invoices.
  • Analysis, Reporting & Escalation of the fleet and Vendor
    • Suggest: Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and procedures within and across departments.
  • Focusing on moving towards automation as much as we can
  • Operational mandate KTLO (Keep the Lights On).
    • Power BI, Power automate, VM (Configuration, Development, Reporting design and implementation)
    • Coordinate Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities as per plan.
    • IMAC ABM (Install, Move, Add, Change) coordination and planning
    • Incident Ticket, Email & Patching Management
    • Routine on-call response for backup (as needed).
    • Occasional system health checks for backup (as needed).
    • Assist with the implementation, monitoring, and review of existing and new systems and procedural changes to ensure successful completion.
    • Suggest: Adaptability to conflicting/changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Develop materials to effectively communicate or train supplier staff regarding tool enhancements, changes, or key issues, (e.g. training materials or presentations).
  • Design, develop and direct the production of periodic and specialized reports as required.
  • Great attitude and a team player.
  • Knowledge in various ABM and CRU hardware.
  • Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
 

  • Bachelor (equivalent or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Understanding of software release process.
  • Attention to detail, high standards for quality, ability to balance risk with technological advancements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with team members, business users, project stakeholders, strategic technology partners, and external vendors.
  • Commitment to maintaining a diversified set of skills through continued education and mentoring peers and team members.
  • Must be flexible and ready to adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • The individual must possess excellent working knowledge of Microsoft tools.
  • Project and process management skills are highly desirable.
