About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where quality is central to how the business operates, not just a function but a mindset. As Quality Manager, you will lead the evolution of a robust ISO 9001 quality system, ensuring products consistently meet customer and regulatory expectations while driving measurable improvements across operations.

You will work closely with cross-functional partners across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and purchasing within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives that support long-term business success.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead, coach, and develop a team of 15 to 20 quality professionals, including performance management, training, and workforce planning.
  • In this role, you’ll design, implement, and validate quality processes aligned with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
  • You’ll establish and monitor product specifications, quality metrics, and operational qualifications.
  • You’ll collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met across internal and external partners.
  • You’ll drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies.
  • You’ll oversee audits, customer complaints, RMAs, and quality reporting for leadership review.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Quality or a related field within manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems such as ETQ, Master Control, Ideagen, or similar.
  • Expertise in statistical problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, 8D, or Lean Six Sigma.
