Assistant Manager, Exam Centre Operations
Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid (2 to 3 days on-site per week, with occasional travel to exam centres)
Language: English, strong written and spoken communication required. French is considered an asset

About the Opportunity
This is a newly created leadership opportunity within a national regulatory organization responsible for delivering high-stakes, performance-based professional examinations. As Assistant Manager, Exam Centre Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring examinations are delivered consistently, securely, and fairly across multiple sites in Canada.
You will work closely with internal operations leaders, exam centre teams, and external contractors, serving as a key connector between policy and practice. With oversight of exam administration and accommodations functions, your work will directly support candidates, exam personnel, and the integrity of the examination process.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll develop, implement, and oversee exam centre operations policies to ensure standardized and compliant exam delivery.
In this role, you’ll manage relationships with exam centres, venues, and contractors, ensuring readiness and performance standards are met.
You’ll lead onboarding, training, and coaching for exam centre personnel and internal team members.
You’ll provide oversight for candidate accommodations, ensuring approved arrangements are implemented accurately and fairly.
You’ll review post-exam feedback, incident reports, and complaints, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
You’ll oversee exam centre budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting in alignment with organizational policies.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in examination administration or assessment operations, ideally with performance-based exams. Experience working in a regulatory environment is a strong asset.
Post-secondary education, preferably at the bachelor’s level or higher.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, feedback, and performance support.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
High integrity, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and exam integrity.
