Location: Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Remote-based with approximately 3 days per week on the road meeting clients across the GTA and nearby regions of Ontario
Language: Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
Background Check Requirement: Criminal record check, credit check, and reference check

About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role with a well-established organization in the financial services and investments space. As an Investment Fundraiser, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth by connecting sophisticated investors with compelling alternative investment opportunities.

Working closely with internal investment, compliance, and marketing teams, you’ll build trusted relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional partners. Your work will directly support the organization’s expansion while offering clients thoughtful, well-structured investment solutions across private markets.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll develop and execute targeted fundraising strategies to attract new investors for alternative investment offerings.

  • In this role, you’ll build and maintain strong relationships with HNWIs, family offices, financial advisors, and institutional investors across Canada.

  • You’ll present investment opportunities, fund performance, and market insights in a professional, compliant manner.

  • You’ll represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and investor meetings to expand market presence.

  • You’ll conduct market research to identify new fundraising channels and emerging investor segments.

  • You’ll collaborate closely with portfolio management, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality investor materials.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in investment fundraising, capital raising, or investor relations within private markets or investments.

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proven success raising capital from high-net-worth and institutional investors.

  • Strong knowledge of private markets, investment structures, and Canadian securities regulations.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a relationship-focused approach.

  • A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for client meetings approximately 3 days per week.
