Payroll & Benefits Administrator – Build Your Career with a Trusted Employer in Sidney, BC! Agilus is recruiting for a Payroll/Benefits Administrator in the aerospace industry in Victoria, British Columbia. Agilus is partnering with a leading aerospace company in Victoria, BC, to recruit a Payroll & Benefits Administrator. If you’re a detail-oriented payroll professional seeking stability, growth, and a supportive team environment, this permanent full-time role could be your next big opportunity! Total rewards: $28.00 - $38.00 hourly Flexible work hours (typically 8–5, 40 hrs/week) Free parking on-site Training reimbursement for job-relevant courses Occasional tickets to sporting events and staff events Competitive hourly wage: $28–$38/hr, negotiable based on experience Full benefits after 3 months (company-paid except STD/LTD) 3% RRSP matching 3 weeks vacation to start, plus holiday shutdown between Christmas & New Year A typical day: Identify and implement process improvements in payroll and benefits Process bi-monthly payroll for 5 companies (approx. 150 employees) Manage payroll input, coding, reconciliation, and remittances Administer benefits enrollment and monthly billing reconciliation Prepare and submit Receiver General payments, ROEs, T4s, and W2s Reconcile WCB and RRSP contributions Support recruitment, employment equity, and employee assistance programs Ensure compliance with Canada Labour Code and Employment Equity Act Successful candidates will have: Experience with Sage 300 (Accpac) is an asset Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and benefits administration Diploma or certificate in payroll or equivalent experience (Canadian payroll courses preferred) Minimum 2 years of payroll experience, ideally with multi-entity processing Strong administrative, coordination, and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook This posting is for an active opening.
