We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to become part of the Mortgage team.  The environment is fast-paced and the system is complex.  
You will be expected to develop SME expertise in the business and system, understand business requirements and communicate them to the developers, analyze system issues and propose solutions, support the Product Owners, and help to bring IT initiatives to successful resolutions. You will be exposed to a wide range of technical and business challenges

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:


•    Participate in the analysis, documentation, and validation of business requirements ensuring all the decisions, requirements and testing needs are properly captured
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams across the bank as well as external partners to deliver the end-to-end solution
•    Translate complex business needs into clear and concise functional requirements and user stories
•    Create Business and Technical documentation
•    Participate in and lead working sessions with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
•    Support the scrum team in planning, scoping, and impact analysis for initiatives
•    Support the QAT team
•    Develop your subject matter expert (SME) knowledge in the business and systems domain. 
•    Work with other IT teams to gain alignment and solve shared problems.
•    Monitor post-implementation performance and incident resolution
•    Must be able to work within tight deadlines and schedules and manage multiple initiatives at the same time.
•    Ability to come to office 3 times a week

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:


•    Experience in Banking/Financial industry
•    Strong expertise in requirements/design, system analysis, and a history of working with large systems 
•    Expertise working with relational databases, and SQL
•    The ability to gain alignment from people with diverse viewpoints and help to set direction.
•    Analytical and problem-solving abilities 
•    Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, translating complex information into clear insights
•    Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the bank
•    Ability to quickly adapt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•    Ability to proactively identify project risks and contribute to overall solution success
•    Proficiency in JIRA / Confluence/ MS Office/Service Now
