Contributes to the overall success of the Private Wealth team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. During your internship you will join a dynamic team, working alongside highly trained professional and portfolio managers.  

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader firm’s relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Support client-service professionals with the completion and development of periodic and ad hoc reports, and presentation materials.
  •  Prepare and coordinate account opening and client profile update documentation.
  • General tasks requested by the manager (the development of branch-based performance measures, and support the build of governance-based account review, help in the preparation of documents pertaining to account transitions, upload specified documents into CRM).
  • Understand how JFL’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with the firm’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
  • Help coordinate FATCA/CRS and AML remediation as required  Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
  • Gain exposure to the new advancement programs within JFL Private Wealth

  • Bachelor in Business or Economics or another related field
  • Students with top grades and standing GPA > 3.0 / 4.0
  • Passion for investment and related fields
  • Analytical and accounting skills.

  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize when necessary.
