Altis Recruitment is supporting a high-impact digital transformation initiative within the federal public sector. In this Business Systems Analyst contract, you’ll help modernize Information Management (IM) processes that support enterprise service delivery, moving from legacy, analogue approaches toward secure, cloud-enabled ways of working.
You’ll partner with IM, policy, and technical teams to map current workflows, uncover bottlenecks, and design practical future-state processes aligned to Government of Canada direction and Microsoft 365 capabilities. Your work will directly shape how teams collaborate, govern information, and deliver consistent service across the organization.
You’ll contribute to a meaningful modernization program with visible outcomes and strong stakeholder engagement. You’ll assess existing IM processes, documentation, and workflows, then identify gaps and friction points.
You’ll lead options analysis, comparing current-state and future-state workflows and recommending best-fit approaches.
You’ll facilitate interviews and workshops, building consensus and buy-in across stakeholders.
You’ll develop a phased roadmap, including dependencies, adoption considerations, and governance alignment.
You’ll design and document optimized workflows using Microsoft 365 tools like SharePoint Online and Power Automate.
You’ll prepare briefings, visualizations, and reporting to support leadership decision-making
5+ years of strategic IM analysis experience within the last 10 years in a federal context.
3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Automate.
Proven ability to document governance models, decision points, and escalation paths.
Strong facilitation skills, comfortable navigating diverse perspectives and priorities.
Experience translating policy and compliance requirements into workable processes and user guidance.
