We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Business Banking Technology team.


Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Manage relationships with Business stakeholders. 
  • Champion end-to-end requirement cycle 
  • Elicit and document requirements (User Stories) 
  • Analyze business processes. 
  • Translate those requirements into functional specifications for technical teams to develop and implement. 
  • Work with the business stakeholders and technology team in the discovery phase of the project and support with the preparation of the business case and providing detailed cost estimates to Business. 
  • Lead from the front and support technical teams to make sure that the development and testing timelines are aligned with the dates that are committed to business for requirement delivery. 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst 
  • Experience working with a large back or a major financial service company. 
  • Experience working in application systems that support credit advancement/ lending/ loans/ credit adjudication/customer onboarding. 
  • Experience with SQL and ability to run database queries to extract data from MS SQL or Oracle databases. 
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze the data.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with business process modeling and requirements-gathering techniques.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Business, or Information Systems is a plus.
  • Experience in commercial banking applications is an asset.
  • Knowledge of commercial banking products is an asset.
