Join our Cloud Engineering Team!
We are seeking an Associate Full Stack Software Engineer with SDLC production environment experience using NodeJS, Python, AKS and Azure to join our dynamic engineering team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining complex web applications, working on both frontend, backend and cloud tools. Collaboration with multi-functional teams is essential to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant software solutions.
Contributing on the segment level, you will be part of the solution engineering team, working on Enterprise tools and frameworks. You will build tools to support multiple team across the enterprise.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain end to end application stack which includes front to back-end and cloud infrastructure for the application.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of the new features and systems.
Conducting peer code reviews to ensure the code quality.
Debug and resolve technical issues with the multi-functional teams and segments.
Required Qualifications:
1 or more years of experience in comprehensive software development production environment using NodeJS and Python.
Proficient in writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terraform Workspaces).
Experience with RESTful API design and development.
Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
Knowledge of cloud platforms Azure containerization, Docker and AKS.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline and tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
Experience with Grafana and New Relic for observability is a plus.

Salary range is expected to be between
$62,000.00 CAD - $112,000.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
