About the position

Duties
This position is responsible for leading a small team of dedicated individuals to run the Soldiers Arena in Oromocto, NB. The Arena Manager is tasked with ensuring the facility operates smoothly, and that processes and procedures are followed to ensure a safe and healthy work environment is maintained.

We have a variety of military teams that participate in recreational play as well as competitive teams that compete at a regional and national level. Yet, we are like every other Canadian community in that we serve our youth and communities with opportunities to hit the ice in the sport they love.

• Possession of an unrestricted and valid driver’s license issued by a Canadian province or territory
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DND 404 Driver/Operator Permit
• Willing and able to wear and utilize Personal protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety standards and regulations
• Willing and able to lift 20 kg (44 lbs)
