The Senior Manager, Military Family Services will plan, oversee, manage, assess and implement the delivery of Military Family Services Program (MFSP) and will provide advice and guidance on programs and services and ensure consistent application of MFS programs, policies and services.
The Senior Manager will lead and manage the implementation, evaluation and reporting of key initiatives as directed by Associate Director, Resilience and Engagement, Policy and Program Development. They will oversee activities aimed to support families through military challenges like relocations, deployments and transitions, specifically in relation to increasing their access of critical services.
They will liaise and engage with other teams within MFS and CFMWS to mobilize a network of support required to enhance the operational readiness of military members and the well-being of their families.
As a leader within MFS, they will be accountable for ensuring their teams are delivering on strategic initiatives and building key relationships with their peers and staff.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
Master’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Community Development or a related field AND some years of experience in the non-profit sector and/or family resources programs
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Community Development or a related field AND several years of experience in the non-profit and/or family resources programs

In the development and implementation of community programs
In planning and facilitating presentations and workshops
In developing, interpreting, implementing and applying policies, procedures, and legislation/regulations
