As the Advisory Practice Specialist, Financial Planning you will assist with the development and creation of financial advice and investment practice strategies, plans and communications to achieve desired client and advisor experience, growth, profitability and business objectives. You will also provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to advisors in the provision of financial advice and expertise in financial planning and investment management.
The Advisory Practice Specialist, Financial Planning will work closely with stakeholders to develop training strategies, identify needs, and implement effective solutions. In addition, you will support training delivery, enhance processes and service standards, provide advisory guidance, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. You will also analyze awareness, usage, and satisfaction levels of existing services, while assessing interest in new offerings.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field AND some years of experience in Financial Planning and Investment Services
OR
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or a related field AND several years of experience in Financial Planning and Investment Services
Canadian Securities Course OR Licensed to sell Mutual Funds
Required to hold or successfully complete the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP)
Maintain registration and member in good standing status as CFP

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
