Our client in the Facility Management sector is seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of their Vancouver office. You will work closely with on-site teams, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring the office runs smoothly. Your Responsibilities
You’ll serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, creating a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors and staff.
In this role, you’ll greet and assist guests, clients, and vendors, ensuring they are directed appropriately.
You’ll answer and route incoming phone calls promptly, taking messages as needed.
You’ll coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are set up with required materials and equipment.
You’ll manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
You’ll maintain a tidy reception area and ensure office supplies are well stocked.
You’ll support various departments with general clerical and scheduling assistance as required.
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor
Comfortable with basic computer functions and office technology
Working knowledge of Gmail and Slack
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
