SAP Trainer

Location: Hybrid (in office in Oshawa on Thursdays). Additional on-site presence required during in-person training periods.

Language: Strong English communication skills required, both written and spoken

Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension

Background Check Requirement: Successful completion of a criminal background check is required

 

About the Opportunity

This is a high-impact opportunity to step into a fast-moving SAP S/4HANA transformation within a large, complex public sector environment. You will play a critical role in helping finance leaders and frontline teams adopt new ways of working during a system-wide implementation that touches multiple organizations and stakeholders.

Working alongside cross-functional partners including system integrators, technology vendors, and internal leaders, you will be a trusted guide through change. This role is well suited to someone who is confident, adaptable, and people-focused, especially in environments where timelines are tight and expectations are high. Your work will directly support better adoption, stronger confidence, and a smoother transition for end users.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll deliver SAP training in both classroom settings and hands-on, at-the-elbow support for end users
  • In this role, you’ll translate high-level training materials into clear, practical guidance that resonates with users
  • You’ll partner with stakeholders to explain system functionality and help teams adapt their processes to the new system
  • You’ll support change by addressing questions, concerns, and resistance with confidence and empathy
  • You’ll provide feedback to project leaders on training gaps, risks, and user readiness

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience delivering SAP training or functional support in complex environments
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, with exposure to Fiori apps strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to stand firm, remain professional, and navigate tension in high-pressure settings
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfort working with pre-developed curriculum and materials rather than building content from scratch
  • Healthcare or public sector experience is an asset, but not required
