About the Opportunity
This is a senior-level opportunity to step into a pivotal Fund and Investment Operations Manager role within a leading financial services organization operating in Canada. As the business continues to expand its product offerings and strengthen its operational ecosystem, this role plays a critical part in safeguarding fund integrity, enhancing governance, and supporting long-term growth.
You’ll work closely with internal shared service teams, external third-party administrators, and senior leadership to ensure strong oversight across the full fund lifecycle. Acting as a local subject matter expert, you’ll bring clarity, accountability, and risk awareness to complex operations while supporting new fund launches and enhancements that directly impact investors and the broader business.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll establish and maintain a local oversight model, ensuring alignment and accountability across internal shared services and external administrators.
You’ll provide independent second-level oversight of fund administration activities, identifying risks, escalating issues, and driving resolution.
You’ll evaluate service provider performance against KPIs, SLAs, and regulatory obligations, challenging outcomes and driving accountability.
You’ll lead the identification and remediation of systemic operational risks, advising leadership on trends and emerging issues.
You’ll support fund launches and product enhancements by partnering with global teams and acting as a local SME.
You’ll deliver clear, high-impact oversight reporting to senior management, synthesizing risk, performance, and control insights.
You’ll lead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering strong performance and professional growth.
Skills and Qualifications
7–10 years of experience in fund administration, fund operations, compliance, audit, or tax
Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory requirements impacting mutual funds and ETFs
Proven experience overseeing third-party service providers and monitoring KPIs and SLAs
Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data and drive corrective actions
Experience supporting fund launches and post-implementation reviews
Strong project coordination, change management, and stakeholder relationship skills
Experience managing and developing direct reports
