Mississauga-Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, is welcoming a Board-certified Criticalist or Board Eligible to join our specialty team.
Responsibilities
Provide advanced critical care to hospitalized and emergency patients; 4 to 6 patients on average
Collaborate and work closely with emergency doctors and other specialty service Associates
Lead and support ICU cases and develop treatment plans
Participate in case discussion rounds
Mentorship; mentor and guide emergency doctors, interns and veterinary technicians
Qualifications
Board-certified (AVCECC, DACVECC or ECVECC) in Critical Care.
Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills
Positive and collegial personality, and who enjoys interacting with other specialists, emergency doctors and veterinary technicians
Mentoring mindset and offer training to those on your team to support the growth of your technicians, assistants, and other staff.
DVM degree allows for licensure in the province of Ontario.
