In this role, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team responsible for managing one of the country’s most significant historical imagery collections. Your work will help ensure that vital audio-visual records are accurately digitized, catalogued, and made accessible to both internal stakeholders and the public. It’s meaningful, hands-on work where precision truly matters.

You’ll also gain exposure to large-scale initiatives, archival standards, and database management practices, building valuable experience within a respected public sector setting.
You’ll enter data from audio-visual and electronic tapes into a database, ensuring accurate cataloguing, indexing, and classification.
In this role, you’ll perform quality control on digitized materials to confirm accuracy and completeness.
You’ll identify content management issues and contribute recommendations to improve data organization and retrieval.
You’ll maintain well-organized, searchable digital records that support long-term access and usability.
You’ll safely move and handle boxes of tape, including lifting up to 50 lbs and transferring materials from floor to chest height.
1+ year of experience in data entry, records management, archives, or a similar role.
Familiarity with cataloguing, indexing, or database systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to follow established guidelines and archival best practices.
Comfort with repetitive tasks and physical handling of materials.
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently in an on-site environment.
