This is a casual position, requiring flexibility to pick up shifts Sunday through Saturday, covering both day and night rotations.
Head Office – Ferrand Drive
Competitive hourly wage: $22.00/hour
Casual status with flexible scheduling
Ability to pick up shifts Sunday to Saturday (0700-1900/1900-0700)
Paid uniform provided
Training and development through GardaWorld Academy
Opportunity to gain experience in a tactical security environment
Conduct mobile and foot patrols of assigned areas
Perform static security duties, including monitoring while seated for extended periods
Enforce the Trespass to Property Act and apply trespass-with-rights procedures
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
Complete accurate incident reports and documentation
Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required
Maintain a professional and customer-focused presence at all times
Authorized to work in Canada
Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required)
Valid G2 or G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (required)
First Aid & CPR certification (required)
Ability to work both day and night shifts
Availability to pick up shifts Sunday through Saturday
Ability to sit for extended periods and conduct foot and vehicle patrols
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Must successfully complete Handcuff and Baton training
Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills
