As a Concierge Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be actively patrolling and responding to incidents across secure environments. This role requires professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to protect vulnerable populations in challenging situations.

Responsibilities for Concierge Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Perform computer tasks
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Answer questions in person or by phone

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard

• Canadian Citizenship or 5 year permanant residency required for clearance purposes
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance 
• Valid Provincial Security Guard Licence
• 1–3 years of professional security experience, preferably in high profile corporate environments
• WSIB Approved First Aid & CPR certification (required)
• Physically fit to perform foot patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to incidents
• Previous experience in government settings (an asset)
