Seeking an experienced Finance Professional for a 6-month contract to support accounting operations and project reporting. Must be highly independent, technically strong, and quick to adapt. Requires advanced D365 Business Central expertise, Power BI skills, solid month-end experience, and strong accounting fundamentals Total rewards: $27.50 - $32.50 hourly 6 month contract with possibility of extension Flexible work model: option for full-time in office or hybrid (2–3 days onsite) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours/week) with a 30-min unpaid break and two 15-min paid breaks. Gain broad exposure, develop diverse professional skills, and thrive in a collaborative, positive culture A typical day: Manage month-end close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis Ensure accurate and timely general ledger reconciliations. Support financial reporting and maintain data integrity across systems. Serve as a D365 Business Central power user for finance processes. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and financial models; optimize workflows using Power Platform tools. Assist with system clean-up, data validation, and process improvements. Handle project accounting: cost tracking, budget-to-actual reporting, and collaboration with project managers. Provide ad hoc analysis, audit support, and administrative tasks as needed. The successful candidate brings: 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or finance, including month-end close 3-5 years of Advanced D365 Business Central expertise (Power User level). Strong Power BI skills for reporting and analytics Proficient in account reconciliations and financial data integrity. Solid Excel and analytical capabilities. Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) is an asset.
