Salary: From 19 to 19 per Hour
 

Our client is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join their team and support the processing of sensitive legal documents in a secure, on-site environment. This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in data entry, and document handling.

-Location: North York - 10-minute walk from the Sheppard subway station
-Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours of work + 1 hour of unpaid lunch between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed
-Contract Length: 11 weeks with potential for extension based on workload
-On-site Requirement: Full-time on-site
-Parking: Not available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the customer and account information database by entering new and updated records.
  • Process legal documents with high accuracy, including land title searches and document validation.
  • Compile, sort, and prepare source data for computer entry while ensuring data quality.
  • Utilize various software platforms to meet provincial requirements and standards for legal documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office for data management and entry.
  • Previous experience working with confidential, sensitive, or legal documents.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately in a quiet, focused environment.
  • Good communication abilities for team collaboration and adherence to protocol.
  • Candidates must provide references and complete a criminal background check
