As an On - call  Crossing Guard, your role may vary slightly depending on the school location, traffic patterns, and weather conditions. Whether you’re helping children cross safely or responding to unexpected situations, we need you to be dependable, attentive, and ready to adapt on the spot.

Responsibilities for Crossing Guard

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Ensure the safe crossing at designated school crosswalks.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.

Qualifications for Crossing Guard

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.

• Ability to think quickly and stay calm under pressure.

• Adaptable and comfortable working in changing weather and school environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to ensuring safety.
